We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Performing Arts Technician to join our team on a casual basis, providing technical support for various events and productions throughout the year.
The Ravenswood Performing Arts Department takes pride in delivering high-quality, professional event experiences. The ideal candidate is a team player who demonstrates initiative, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach. They will be detail-oriented and able to ensure smooth event operations across a variety of contexts within the school.
This role involves assisting with the set-up, operation, and maintenance of sound, lighting, staging, and vision equipment.
To secure this role, the successful applicant should have experience with:
- Setting up various sound, lighting and AV equipment and systems
- Operating sound desks (Yamaha, Allen & Heath desirable)
- Operating lighting consoles (LSC Clarity and Chamsys desirable)
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring best practices are followed
Ravenswood is looking for someone to join the team on a casual basis initially, with the potential for future growth in the role.
