An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our College Community. The Performing Arts Technician role is to assist teaching staff in the smooth and efficient operations of the Performing Arts to adequately prepare for an array of performances through the year.
Established in 1984, Lumen Christi College is a Catholic co-educational secondary school with a current enrolment of nearly 1000 students from Years 7 to 12. Located in the suburb of Martin, in the foothills of Perth, the College aspires to be an inclusive, creative learning community centred in Christ and committed to the education and development of each individual.
Position Description:
This is a part-time, ongoing position commencing Monday, 19 February 2024 (2-3 days per week or by negotiation)
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
- A strong commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education
- Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in an appropriate specialised Art practice or similar
Desirable:
- Experience in working in a similar role
- Demonstrated high levels of organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of OHS practices in relation to hazardous materials and safe manual handling
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
On appointment, the successful applicant will be required to:
- Have/obtain a Working with Children Check (WWC)
- Have/obtain a current Crimtrac Police Clearance
- Completed, or be willing to complete, Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School
- Undergo Mandatory Reporting Training
- Comply with the Lumen Christi College Code of Conduct
