Join our Back of House team and take your technical skills to the next level! This exciting back-of-house role provides a great opportunity for a skilled Theatre Technician to work in a busy and dynamic team to deliver high-quality, professional theatre and business events at the Wangaratta Performing Arts & Convention Centre.
The successful candidate will have a suitable qualification and/or extensive knowledge and experience of theatre operations and skills in lighting, audio, audio visual, staging and mechanist duties. The role includes preparing for conferences and events as well as bump in and out of small and large scale performances. Experience delivering excellent customer service and implementing industry OH&S procedures is essential.
The role requires someone who is physically fit and can multi- task while working to tight timelines. Hours of work vary and night and weekend work will be required. A current drivers license, EWP License, OH&S White Card, Level 2 First Aid and endorsed Riggers and Dogging Certificates is preferred.
