This exciting back-of-house role provides a great opportunity for a Theatre Technician to work in a busy and dynamic team to deliver high-quality, professional theatre and business events at the Wangaratta Performing Arts & Convention Centre. The role offers a diverse range of tasks including the operation and set up of staging, lighting, sound, audio visual and mechanist duties within OH&S guidelines. Preparing for conferences, functions and business events as well as bump in and bump out of small and large scale performances. The successful applicant will be physically fit with great communication skills and a “can do” attitude. If you are prepared to get your hands dirty while multi-tasking and working to tight timelines often unsupervised, we would love to hear from you! Hours of work vary and night and weekend work will be required. Knowledge of the performing arts industry, a current drivers license and first aid would be advantageous.
