Role
Phaseshift Productions is seeking a highly organised Operations Manager to oversee, manage and organise the day to day operations of Phaseshift Productions. The position is Full Time based in Cheltenham, Melbourne.
Duties include but are not limited to:
– Management of staff including rostering and recruitment of new staff
– Management of freight and logistics
– Management and Co-ordination of Factory floor with regard to all aspects of staff and equipment
– Co-ordinating last minute changes to staffing and logistics
– Ensuring productions and hires are completed as per the client’s requirements and on budget
– Liaising with Production Managers and Clients regarding the logistical needs of the events
– Being the central cog between all departments and ensuring they work together in harmony
Candidate should possess
– Certificate 4 or Diploma in the live production industry with a minimum of 5 years practical on the job experience or relative experience of equal value
– Significant knowledge of the Production Industry and associated equipment.
– Demonstrated understanding of WHS practice’s
– Exceptional organizational and time management skills
– Good decision making skills under critical time constraints
– Ability to process information in stressful situations
– Great people and communication skills
– Strong work ethic
– Ability to work independently
– Current Police Check
– Forklift license and manual HR Truck license is highly desirable
