The Res X team is expanding! We are looking for another superstar to join the Melbourne operations team as a full-time Operations Assistant.

Our services include a dry hire facility for equipment as well as production supply for theatre, toured productions, corporate events and architectural lighting. Based across two locations nationally—Victoria and NSW—the business provides quality gear, service and expertise to a vast client base daily.
About the role:
The Operations Assistant will manage day-to-day logistics including vehicle scheduling and interstate freight planning, as well as managing our fleet of trucks and vans.
They will take a leading role in the control of stock within our Melbourne location. This includes managing the preparation and return process of hire stock, chasing up missed returns and conducting data entry as required.
The Operations Assistant will work closely with and deputise for our operations manager, in order to ensure our warehouse team are exceeding customers’ expectations every day.
Experience:
The ideal candidate has previous experience in a warehousing, logistics or large-scale hire environment. However, any candidate from the entertainment industry looking for a fresh challenge is highly encouraged to apply.
General Information:
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Located at Oakleigh South initially, with a view to relocating to Noble Park Victoria later in the year.
- Hours are typically 9-5 Monday to Friday with the expectation of some overtime outside of this as our workload increases.
