NW Group Australasia were the official supplier of Sound and Lighting solutions for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2018 Invictus Games, held in Sydney. The Invictus Games is an international adaptive multi-sport event, created by the United Kingdom’s Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, in which wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and their associated veterans take part in sports including wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, and indoor rowing.
Working together with Paul Collison to design the system for the Invictus games ceremonies, the closing ceremony was based around NW Group’s extensive lighting inventory, with floor packages as per Birds of Tokyo rider, along with a multitude of custom gobos to achieve the Invictus look and feel.
