Notch, the realtime visual creation tool, used in shows from U2 to Beyoncé and to installations for Adobe, Intel and IBM, and stage shows on Broadway and across the globe, has today launched a new mid range product, called Notch Builder Base, and introduced a subscription model for the Builder product range.
Builder Base brings collaboration and realtime content creation to even more freelancers and design studios. No constraints on creativity or content creation. Base is priced at £99 per month.
Subscriptions with monthly payments had been requested by the Notch user base and the team were happy to oblige, making Notch accessible to even more users. The flexible subscriptions allow a user to upgrade/downgrade from month to month so they have the right features, but only when the user needs them. There is also subscription management tools for studio / purchasing managers.
With such a high demand for Notch artists and designers in the market these two changes are landing at a good time.
Matt Swoboda, director at Notch, explains: “From the outset we’ve been committed to making Notch more accessible and applicable year-on-year. Today’s announcement is yet another milestone on that journey and we’re delighted that the successes of the last years are fueling Notch to equip more users and power more applications with realtime creation and rendering.”
Luke Malcolm, director at Notch, adds: “The last year has seen huge growth in demand for skilled Notch creators, but also in the depth and skills of the user base as a whole. The Notch user base has turned into a thriving community of talented individuals and studios and today’s release of Notch Builder Base and Subscriptions is designed specifically to meet their needs.”
