Brisbane’s Nexus Church has recently taken delivery of four Martin MAC Auras from Brisbane Sound Group and production manager Dan Millar is delighted with their compact size, punchy beam, colours and of course the handy eye-candy effects.
“We looked at a few different fixtures to replace the MAC250 Washes that we had,” explained Dan. “We wanted something to fill their place but obviously with a bit more punch. The MAC Auras really ticked all of the boxes – they have an amazing intensity, awesome zoom, and good price range.
“The zoom was probably one of the most important features as we have a massive screen and needed to be able to wash the stage without covering the screen with light. To have that massive zoom range from narrow spot in to being able to wash the entire stage is a great feature.”
