Trudy Dalgleish is one of Australia’s most successful Lighting Designers having won many awards including a Helpmann Award, Entech Award, John Truscott Design Award for Excellence and a couple of Green Room Awards. She is known for her extensive work in musical theatre, opera and arena spectaculars.
A graduate of NIDA’s Technical Production course, Trudy has worked for Sydney Theatre Company, Sydney Dance Company, Bangarra Dance Company and has designed many operas for Opera Australia and both the Victorian and Western Australian Opera.
Trudy was Head of Lighting at the Sydney Entertainment Centre for seven years where her designs included concerts, circus, rock concerts, sporting events and corporate events.
Trudy has worked extensively all around the world including Broadway New York, London West End, Asia and the Middle East, Norway and France.
