During the recent Prolight+Sound & ISE tradeshows, the zactrack team gave a preview of the new zactrack software version 3.19.1.0 to show visitors. This software offers new features, functionality and fixes to further advance the performance and usability of zactrack products.
This software is now fully released and ready for everyone to install and use.
Amongst the highlights, his new version features a new function called Autofunctions Wizard. Many users will already be familiar with the separate Autofunctions application – A creative tool to zone your performance area for dynamic fixture behaviour within those zones. Now the zactrack app has an Autofunctions wizard built into its interface. This wizard allows the quick & easy creation of simple dimming zones and ability to save them as scenes. The Trackers (Pucks) are used to define the zones as a live preview, making the area definable in real-time.
This new Wizard should help boost a designer’s creativity quickly & easily by moving the Pucks around your stage to accurately achieve dimming zones.
Improvements have also been made to OSC string functionality to allow for easier & more defined messages. This will improve the ability for zactrack to trigger cues or faders on all industry lighting consoles.
Many other tweaks & solutions are implemented in the new software, all with the aim to make these reliable, accurate systems even more user-friendly.
