ETC is getting ready to show its latest products at PLASA London 2014 tradeshow in London’s ExCeL centre, 5-8 October. ETC will be taking advantage of two separate but adjacent stands (K60 and L60) with an entirely new design in the centre of PLASA’s main exhibition hall, so as to highlight both entertainment and building-control products, and to provide a comfortable space for extended demonstrations and in-depth discussions.
On the larger of the company’s two stands, number K60, ETC fixtures product manager Jim Uphoff and his colleagues will be demonstrating the new Source Four LED Series 2 luminaires. Launched at Frankfurt’s Prolight + Sound show earlier this year, Source Four LED Series 2 improves on the previous generation of ETC’s LED fixtures by updating the seven-colour mixing system, making white lights even more accurate, and producing tints up to three times brighter.
Two additions to the Source Four LED Series 2 line mean there are three models in the range: the Lustr, introduced earlier this year, and now two white light specialists – Tungsten HD and Daylight HD – which bring even better performance to adjustable white light profiles.
In addition, ETC will be unveiling an exciting and long sought after addition to their fixture range – please visit the stand to find out more.
ETC staff will also be available to demonstrate examples from the rest of ETC’s critically acclaimed lighting lines, including the Source Four®, Source Four LED, Source Four Mini and Selador Desire series.
Also on the stand will be the latest updates to the Eos and Cobalt control desks, which Eos product manager Anne Valentino and her colleagues will be pleased to demonstrate. Staff will also be available to show the pocket sized Nomad dongle, a cross-platform control system that enables users to turn their own Mac or PC into a powerful Eos or Cobalt lighting control system.
The new Unison Echo building control system, which offers sophisticated yet uncomplicated control, will also be on display. Echo replaces the previous SmartLink control system for use in Unison DRd Power Control racks. Designed for small- and medium sized venues like restaurants, museums, theatres and meeting rooms, it is ready to use straight out of the box. Unison Echo also provides a new series of Inspire wall stations, as well as vacancy, occupancy and light sensors.
Over on the smaller stand, L60, will be the Unison Paradigm system, which provides powerful lighting control for large installations like theatres, office buildings, stadiums and arenas, as well as Sensor3 Power Control. A new Sensor3 Backup Station, which replaces the basic SmartLink preset button panels, will be on demonstration. It provides individual zone control and other architectural lighting control features for your venue.
