Jands Pty Ltd is one of Australia’s largest distributors and manufacturers of professional audio, lighting and staging products, with an impressive portfolio of quality international and local brands.

With an enviable reputation for providing innovative audio, lighting and staging solutions to their clients, Jands is looking for an enthusiastic National Account Manager to grow the sales of Jands branded and distributed products across a range of territories, vertical markets and manage a portfolio of key customers.

Based in Mascot, this role is a great opportunity for a motivated, experienced National Account Manager to join an industry-leading organisation.

The Role

Key duties and responsibilities of the National Account Manager include (but are not limited to):

  • Developing and maintaining the existing client dealer base;
  • identifying, evaluating and acquiring new business;
  • entering and maintaining information within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system;
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the Jands distributed product range by attending training sessions, reviewing supplier websites, establishing personal networks and reading industry publications.
  • delivering quarterly and annual sales targets;
  • creating value for customers by providing innovative product and installation solutions; and,
  • participating in the planning of sales growth and annual sales targets within the nominated area or responsibility.

Skills and experience

To be considered for this position applicants must meet the essential criteria listed below:

  • minimum 3 years proven sales experience and the ability to achieve sales targets;
  • understanding/keen interest in professional audio/lighting/staging equipment;
  • exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
  • proven ability to write business reports and business correspondence;
  • a current and valid driver’s licence; and
  • an unyielding desire to deliver total customer satisfaction.

It would be an advantage to possess one or more of the following desirable selection criteria.

  • Tertiary qualifications in business-related fields.
  • Previous experience in the professional audio, lighting and/or staging industry.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Distribution Sales and/or IT Channel experience desirable

Applicants should note intra/interstate travel will be required on an intermittent basis.
