Martin Kinnane lit La Finta Giardiniera, a fun bright opera where many people pretend to be who they aren’t to get people to love them.
In a tricky venue with limits regarding the size of fixtures in the grid, he chose to light most of the show with sidelight on a boom structure like a rugby goal post but with two crossbars.
Martin chose MAC Aura’s because the venue had some in stock and because they fit into their grid and Chauvet Colordash Hex Pars because he finds them quite punchy units and they have UV which he needed for the show.
