Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are thrilling audiences “Down Under” this month with sold-out shows in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, as well as an outdoor event at Macedon Hanging Rock on the Australian leg of the 2013 “Wrecking Ball” tour.
Morpheus Lights is pleased to be supplying the lighting rig for the Australian tour in cooperation with Chameleon Touring Systems of Sydney, Australia. Morpheus shipped down specialty trusses and luminaires required to maintain the overall design integrity of the Springsteen rig, designed by Jeff Ravitz of Intensity Advisors – including 52 active Ayrton Wildsun 500C LED automated wash fixtures and 16 Morpheus CP7™-IP LED blinders.
Chameleon is providing the balance of the rig, including various Vari*Lite fixtures as well as Robert Juliat Alex tungsten halogen truss spots.
Back in the USA, Morpheus crews are hard at work prepping a complete duplicate rig that will ship in early April for the European leg of the tour – with the first show scheduled at Telnor Arena in Oslo on April 29.
