Light Shark continues its solid march forward as the go to console for people looking to maximize return on their investment in a Lighting Console with several more Western Australian companies jumping on board with the console format.
Graham Piper owner of Stalite Productions made the switch to a Light Shark LS-1 to replace his aging lighting console, “I was looking for a console that could replace my Hog 1000 but needed to be smaller, lighter and have a lot for functionality. I was intrigued by the Light Shark range and after a demo at Entech and a follow up demo from WA Showtools Rep Sean McKernan, I was sold on the LS-1 as the solution for me,” says Graham.
Also adding Light Sharks to their Inventory was Perth Production Company Showscreens.
Owner Ryan Varley notes, “The LS-1 Platform is gaining huge popularity in operators who need a fast, flexible and reliable console without breaking their budget. The LS-1 allows us to deliver shows and installs where the budget didn’t allow for a more expensive console whilst maintaining features and capabilities. The LS 1 certainly delivers that for us.”
PSI Audio from Mandurah in Perth’s South also have invested heavily in the Light Shark platform. “Plug it in, turn it on and go, that how easy the Light Shark really is,” says Ryan Miller from PSI Audio. “PSI Audio have been on the hunt for a small lighting console for some time and thanks to Sean at Showtools for dropping past with a demo we found what we were looking for. The Lightshark LS1 is small and compact but very powerful and easy to use for any situation. The onboard effects engine is intuitive and easily adaptable for any size show. We were so impressed by the Lightshark we put the LS Core into an install in which the client loves the ease of walking in with her iPad, sitting down and using her executors to run the show, whilst still having full control for on the fly design with the touch of a button.”
Ryan recently used a Light Shark LS-1 to control the recent Nameless Jarndunmunha Festival in Tom Price.
