Midas has announced the launch of the new V2.0.0 firmware update for its flagship HD96-24 console that offers a range of enhancements designed to provide a more smooth and efficient workflow, and it’s now available to download for free via Midas mCloud.
Among the new features is Macros, designed to allow users to automate repetitive tasks and create custom sequences of commands. V2 also now fosters the ability users to integrate with external hardware like the Sennheiser EM6000 digital wireless microphone receiver.
Further, the new Update Scenes function provides the ability to make absolute or relative changes to send levels in many scenes at once. Meanwhile, the addition of Two Way Flip also allows the user to select an input channel and control its contribution level to all output channels via the displayed output faders.
V2 also offers TC Electronic MD4 finalizer audio processing joined to the Midas Transient Gate for added mix clarity and Brainwave Spatial Audio for immersive audio applications. And, the new External Gate Insert is designed to deliver more precise control over background noise and unwanted sounds, which is essential.
