Port Hedland is at the heart of the booming Pilbara Region of WA. The town itself is thriving and boasts good quality infrastructure assets and a vast range of community and recreational facilities and services. With assistance from the State Government and Industry the Town of Port Hedland is currently delivering major community infrastructure projects.
The organisation has undertaken significant growth in the last 5 years and now comprises a workforce of 220 people with an annual budget of $123 million. The State Government through the Pilbara Cities initiative is committed to seeing Port Hedland develop into a City of 50,000.
MATT DANN THEATRE AND CINEMA TECHNICAL OFFICER
$78,729.82 per annum (Includes Port Hedland Allowance for applicants over the age of 18)
Located at the Matt Dann Theatre and Cinema, Town of Port Hedland is currently seeking a permanent full time experienced theatre technician that will work at the hub of live entertainment in the significantly growing Town of Port Hedland. The technical officer will be responsible for coordinating and running the technical department of the theatre both indoors and at outdoor festivals and events including regular cinema screenings.
This position is perfect for someone who is creative, self-motivated, enjoys working in a team and carries suitable entertainment industry qualifications and/or demonstrated experience.

Please note this is not a fly in fly out position. You must be based in Port Hedland with your own accommodation and transportation. This position is not eligible for subsidised housing.
