Sydney based production-company Creative Lighting & Audio has added four Martin RUSH MH3 Beam lights and a couple of RUSH Multibeam 2 effects lights to its inventory.
Director Andre Kecskes found his corporate clients were asking for them and rather than continue to sub-hire the fixtures, he decided it would be more profitable to buy his own.
The RUSH MH 3 Beam is a powerful beam moving head that blasts an intense and narrow long-throw beam for spectacular mid-air looks and effects. It houses a fixed gobo wheel and colour wheel with a multitude of effects possible from a dimmer, strobe effect, 8-facet prism and focus.
“What I really like about them is the fact that they are comparable with much more expensive beam lights,” said Andre. “Their movement is good and they’re not noisy. We’ve not had any issues with the, once they are addressed they work.”
Andre purchased a couple of RUSH Multibeam 2 to add effects and basically a few different looks to his corporate set ups.
“They’re very easy to handle, simple to set up and produce nice beams,” said Andre.
The RUSH Multibeam 2 is a versatile effect light featuring two moveable LED bars each with 5 individually controllable narrow beams for powerful mid-air effects. It punches out 10 intense and narrow long-throw beams and features electronic dimming and strobe effect. Multibeam 2 comes with preprogrammed macros for easy effects, master / slave function as well as DMX or sound activation.
