Perth-based Gpro Shaw Events has added four Martin RUSH MH1 Profile LED moving heads to their inventory. The super-efficient optics of the RUSH MH1 punch out a variety of effects and colours from two gobo wheels and one colour wheel. It also houses an electronic dimmer and strobe, iris and 3-facet prism.
“Initially we were rather cautious of LEDs in a moving light but the RUSH MH1 seems to fill the MAC250 Entour market,” said Blake Granston, production designer at GPro Shaw Events. “They are ideal for the small to medium events that we don’t want to send MAC700’s or MAC Vipers to. The RUSH MH1 has some cool gobos that are a little bit different and work well for the fringe festival and music gigs we have been doing.”
Blake was also impressed by the affordability of the RUSH MH1 fixtures as well as the fact he can add more to a circuit due to their low power draw.
“We were recently able to put them into a 100-year old circus venue as there is no heat coming off of them,” he added. “They’re also quiet and relatively quick. Basically, they are just efficient! They have just done 262 shows in five weeks without a single issue.”
Gpro Shaw Events have also been amassing a considerable amount of Pro Shop LED PixPAR Tri-24 which they have been busy pixel mapping for various events. Consisting of 24 TRI-COLOUR 3-in-1 3Watt LEDs, versatility and flexibility of use with this unit is assured. Individual LED or larger LED segment control is available in this fixture, with control available via DMX, Static colour or Auto modes.
