Martin MAC 250 Beam™ provides extra value for money

Fusion Entertainment has taken delivery of four Martin MAC 250 Wash™ fixtures complete with the new MAC 250 Beam™ upgrade kit that converts any standard Martin MAC 250 Wash™ into a punchy beam fixture that projects powerful variably sized pencil beams. The MAC 250 Beam™ is a compact beam fixture that generates variably sized pencil beams as well as wash effects via a variable frost filter. It is available as an easy and inexpensive upgrade that installs in only 5 minutes on any existing MAC 250 Wash™ fixture.

”We were looking at buying some MAC 250 Wash™ fixtures anyway and Show Technology were offering a fantastic deal on the MAC 250 Beam™ upgrade kit – that provided the extra incentive for me to go ahead and make the purchase,” said Paul Walton, production manager at Fusion Entertainment. “Now my MAC 250’s offer multiple uses!”

Paul’s lights became available two days prior to a large show he was staging at the Sydney Entertainment Centre show – the Network 21 National Convention – and he couldn’t resist adding them to his rig.

“We were very impressed with the MAC 250 Beam™, the ability for such a small unit to cut through much larger fixtures and output so much light makes it a great addition to our inventory,” he commented. “Even the highly saturated colours still cut through the whole rig so much so I didn’t dare shine them towards the audience for fear of blinding someone!

“The MAC 250 Beam™ adds great value and many extra uses for the MAC 250 Wash™ at a small additional price.”

Also in the Network 21 National Convention rig were 6 x MAC 2000 wash, 4 x MAC 700 profile, and 6 x MAC 250 Entours.
