Harman Professional Solutions announces its new Martin Exterior Dot Pro family of outdoor-rated RGBW LED dots. These versatile LED dots are designed for various outdoor and indoor fixed installations, such as stadiums, arenas, theme parks, ski resorts, hotels, casinos, bridges, landmarks, tunnels, cruise ships, churches, shopping malls, and more.
The Exterior Dot Pro family is designed for both indirect and direct view creative video applications and includes three string-based dots: Exterior Dot-1 Pro; Exterior Dot-4 Pro; and Exterior Dot-9 Pro. Each model offers full configurability in dot count, distance between dots, and lead-in cable length. Additionally, the family features the connector-based Exterior Dot-HP Pro. All models are outdoor-rated and backed by Martin’s five-year warranty.
Exterior Dot Pro models are equipped with highly efficient RGBW LEDs, delivering high-intensity and exceptional lumen output that stand out in their class. Integrated colour boost technology enhances output for mixed and saturated colours. All models are fully gamut colour-calibrated, ensuring superior colour consistency across the family, the company says. Additionally, the calibrated dots feature a dedicated colour temperature channel, allowing easy adjustments to create the desired ambiance and mood.
The family of Exterior Dot Pro models is designed for versatile mounting and integration, optimizing clean, cost-effective installations with minimal components needed for fully operational systems. The open control interface allows control via Art-Net, sACN, and Martin’s P3 protocol, allowing customization of the controller to meet specific project requirements. For smaller configurations, Exterior Dot Pro systems can operate with stand-alone control, eliminating the need for an external controller.

These units combine stable power delivery with high-speed, high-capacity video processing, simplifying fixture deployment and are compatible with industry-standard protocols, including Art-Net and sACN as well as Martin’s award-winning P3 control protocol. They require no local setup, support long cable distances, and allow more fixtures per daisy chain. The P3 PowerPort portfolio includes a wide range of solutions for system integrators, rental companies, and installation customers.
