MAC Quantum Profiles for Redland PAC

Redland Performing Arts Centre has recently purchased eight Martin MAC Quantum Profiles from Brisbane Sound Group. These lights were to replace some ageing fixtures that were struggling to keep up with the venue’s more recent LED purchases and the venues’ desire to have more state of the art lighting.

“The previous lights were lacking in punch and were starting to have a few issues, so we saw an opportunity to investigate replacements,” remarked Monique Window, Technical Services Manager at the Centre. “We had heard really great reports on the MAC Quantums and our in-house lighting tech thought they would be a good choice.”

Despite their incredible reputation, the MAC Quantums weren’t a done deal with Monique and her crew checking out several options. However, nothing compared in quality for the price.

“The MAC Quantums work great within our venue,” added Monique. “They have an impressive range of movement, a remarkable gobo selection and they kick through the LED fixtures we have overhead. They’ve performed really well, and we’ve had several touring productions already comment on how impressive the lighting is now in our venue.”

Redland Performing Arts Centre now has a versatile, lightweight fixture that is very bright, giving them so much more versatility and a far more vibrant stage. They are really looking forward to using these lights into the future.
