Luna Light Journey, ‘Firewalk’, Burns Bright In Singleton

Singleton’s historic Dunolly Bridge and Cook Park precinct were brought to life with a series of immersive displays of laser lights, projections, holograms, vivid light displays and digital art installations that showcased the story and rich history of Singleton, engaging visitors in an unforgettable sensory experience.

LASERVISION worked in partnership with Singleton Council and brought their award-winning Luna Light Journey concept to align with the annual Firelight Festival to increase overnight visitation from around the region for a nightly event over the course of a week leading up to the festival.

Vicki Brereton, Singleton Council’s Director Organisation and Community Capacity said people came to Singleton from near and far to experience the must-see attraction.

“We are ecstatic at the community’s response to the launch of Firewalk on the weekend [May 14] – people flocked to Cook Park in their thousands to view this incredible activation that showcased the vibrancy and creativity of the Singleton area,” Ms Brereton said.

“It was fantastic to see how uplifting the event was for everyone, and people were awed by the installations produced by LASERVISION, which included projections of artwork by local Wanaruah artist Debbie Becker, plus others that showcase our area’s diversity, heritage and culture.”

The Singleton Firelight Festival is supported by the NSW Government’s Regional Events Acceleration Fund.
