What would you normally be doing this time of year?
Trying to find time to scratch myself between Christmas activations and end of year shows, I’m usually flat out.
What’s a fairly normal day at the moment for you?
I have breakfast with my family and then off to the office to keep myself occupied because let’s be honest there is not a lot of work happening.
Are you learning anything to improve your skills set?
I have spent most of 2020 learning new electronics skills allowing us to design and create our own Australian made wireless products to suit the entertainment lighting industry.
What bad habits have you slipped into?
Not going to lie, I’ve done a bit of sitting around and watching Netflix this year
How are you coping financially?
Pretty much the same as most in the industry – Jobkeeper is keeping things above water.
When do you think live entertainment with return and in what format?
I really hope soon, my guess is the current socially distanced format for the next few years but hopefully not too long.
Do you have any words of encouragement?
Hang in there, the industry will come back bigger and better on the other side.
What makes you happy at the moment?
Spending time with my kids and getting in some family time that I wasn’t able to do during busy times.
