The Role:
We are searching for a full-time sound engineer to lead our acoustic production on show nights. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring that sound and systems are optimised, delivering a lasting impression of audio quality for which our venue is renowned.
You must have extensive experience in using the Digico S21 desk to apply for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
– Live Sound Engineering:
- Operating and mixing FOH / MON for all types of live performances
- Familiar with Analogue and Digital audio systems – including Digico S21
- Have used and are familiar with a selection of Analogue and Digital Consoles
- Patching and mic’ing techniques for live performances
- Conducting regular cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of sound equipment.
– Post-Production Engineer:
- Sound design and audio post-production for video, creating and manipulating sound effects and dialogue.
– Other Sound Engineering Roles:
- Operate audio equipment for recording, amplification, and mixing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a sound engineer mixing shows in live music
- Qualifications as a sound engineer or technician
- Strong knowledge of audio consoles, fixtures, and other related equipment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
