Live Production Tech

About the Role

Enterprise Services (ES) is responsible for the world-leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business.

The End User Experience Platform vision is to ‘Drive better experiences for our colleagues.’

The Live Events team is a new, internal capability we are setting up to improve the digital experience for our senior stakeholders when they run large webcasts and live events. This team will focus on the technology components of large events and will support communications teams and executives to make them successful.

See yourself in our team

Your wider team is responsible for the strategy and operation of all collaboration technology for the bank such as Office 365, Email, SharePoint, Telephony, Web Streaming and Video Conferencing.

You will be in a team of 3 to run live streams using Microsoft Stream for audiences over 200 people. You will report to the Product Manager: Unified Communications

Do work that matters:

When you aren’t running a live event you will be planning or preparing for upcoming events, doing post-production work, creating video content, performing research for how to improve your service offering, or upskilling your own skills to contribute across other areas of our wider team. You will also need to meet with internal stakeholders to increase awareness of your service and encourage wider adoption.

  • Live event quality and innovation

  • Services delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards
  • Effectiveness of engagement process

What skills you will possess:

  • Prior experience running large live events (preferred)
  • Video editing, Filming
  • Strong technical and creative understanding of photography, audio, video, and streaming technologies
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Technical Troubleshooting under pressure
  • We are interested to see a portfolio of previous events or media you have been involved with
  • Confident working with senior executives
