POSITION SUMMARY:
To assist in the provision of a broad range of technical work such as staging, sound, lighting and rigging for production and events. This role will also include asset management and venue janitorial duties.
ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES:
- Current verified NSW Working With Children Check
- Aptitude and commitment to undertake and complete distance education studies in CUA40415 – Cert IV in Live Production and Technical Services.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

- Work safely in the construction industry
- Contribute to the organisation of productions
- Communicate effectively with arts professional
- Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs to meet legislative requirements
- Licence to perform rigging intermediate level
- Licence to perform rigging basic level
- Operate/set-up a sound desk/sound equipment
- Operate complex lighting
- Create special effects for scenic art
- Operate flying systems
- Set up and operate lighting cues and effects
- Attach cords and plugs to electrical equipment for connection to a single phase 250 Volt supply
- Assist with general office duties.
- Undertake venue janitorial duties from time to time
- To perform any other duties within the scope of the position as directed.
