We are pleased to announce that in conjunction with the Federal Government, Live Music will now be classed as Sports and be extended the same courtesy.
The changes will include umpires on stage and all patrons will be required to wear at least one piece of sporting clothing to support the team. Live music sets will be divided into four quarters with venues required to sell all alcohol in a plastic cup and stock meat pies.
It was also announced that by June Companies in the entertainment sector are hoping to introduce Airline staff roles at shows including food carts to be taken down the centre at Live Shows. The Federal Government have indicated that this will allow them to provide the industry with the same level of financial support directly to struggling companies in the industry.
Thanks to Tasmania’s Eight Oh Eight for alerting us to these important changes.
