Live Event Services were contracted to design and supply production as per their clients’ brief for a Gala Dinner and Fundraiser at Carriageworks on 8 June 2023.
The brief included a massive 50m x 6m projection surface with 6 x 20k projectors set up for a soft-edge blend. Control and content management via 4k media server and Barco E2 system.
The audio design included: 4 x hangs of 6 L-Acoustics Kara with SB18’s subs top rigged, 2 x SB28 subs positioned under the main stage and 4 x 108p as near-fill plus 4 x X12 foldback wedges. The secondary stage located in bay 21 for pre and post-function included 4 x L-Acoustics X12 speakers flown with 2 x SB18 on the floor of the stage. Allen & Heath D-Live S5000 console was set to control both spaces.
Lighting Design included: 6 x Ayrton Diablo, 6 x Ayrton Mistral, 36 x Mac Aura, 72 x Dreampix, 8 x ShowPRO LED Fresnel, 8 x ETC Source Four, 14 x ShowPRO LED Colour Rangers, 20 x ShowPRO Quad 12/18, 2 x MA Lighting grandMA2 light consoles as well as 2 x DF50 hazers, 16 x CM320 LED Moving Wash and 16 x Event Lighting LED Battery Par.
Rigging included 450m of Truss and 48 chain motors controlled by a Kinetics system.
