Litepanels, developer of proprietary LED lighting, have announced the debut of their H2 Hi-Output LED luminaires. The new fixtures are intended to answer the need for an LED softlight capable of delivering light over a 6m to 7.5m throw.
The H2 Hi-Output is 5600K Correlated Colour Temperature, utilising an array of 72 one-Watt daylight LEDs that are focused to a 10° angle. The 100W H2 fixtures provide a claimed light equivalent to a 1kW incandescent lighting fixture, consuming just 10% of the energy.
The new H2 fixtures provide the same dimming capabilities as other Litepanels fixtures, as well as dimming from 100% to zero with no noticeable color change. Dimming is provided via a knob located on the fixture itself, or from a DMX feed. H2 fixtures have an integrated yoke and gimbal system for easy hanging in the grid or positioning on a light stand.
