Jesse Radatti has launched Lighting Toolbox, which he says started as a scratch-my-own-itch project.
“As someone working in the industry, I kept finding myself reaching for my phone to do a quick calculation and coming up empty,” he explained. “Whether it was a voltage drop on a long cable run, ArtNet universe addressing, or point load distribution, nothing out there was built specifically for this kind of work as an all-in-one app, so I built it myself.”
Lighting Toolbox is the app Jesse always wanted on the job. It puts the calculations he actually uses day-to-day in one place: DMX and ArtNet address settings, voltage drop, distributed point loads, beam loads, colour temperature reference, a live CCT and Lux meter using your phone’s camera.
Everything is designed to be fast to open and easy to use when you’re standing in a venue at 2am trying to figure out why something isn’t working.
It’s a one-time purchase because that’s how Jesse would want to buy it. No subscriptions, no accounts, no nonsense. Just the tools you need, always in your pocket.
