About the Adelaide Festival Centre Trust
Adelaide Festival Centre (AFC) is one of Australia’s most active presenters and promoters of the performing arts and produces a bold, exciting and extensive program of festivals, events, performances and activities. The Production Department is a service provider to shows and events within Adelaide Festival Centre venues and comprises of Lighting, Sound, Staging, Wardrobe and Stage Management departments.
About the vacancy
Our Lighting Department provides equipment operated by qualified and experienced technicians responsible for designing, setting up and operating performance lighting, control systems, follow spots and atmospheric effects.
We are looking for experienced and motivated lighting technicians to join our Production team. The responsibilities for lighting technician roles are listed in the attached position description.

The successful applicants will have or will be working towards a relevant qualification in:
Lighting;
Elevated Work Platform current certificate;
National Police Clearance certificate;
Experience in an arts/entertainment environment;
The ability to work effectively within a team environment
Effective reading, writing & listening skills with the ability to follow & implement instructions;
A sound understanding of the entertainment industry, its terminology, traditions & protocols.
