Role: Lighting Technician and AV Technicians
Employment Type: Full time
Salary: salary package dependant on experience ($75,000 – $80,000 inclusive of superannuation)
Commencement Date: May 2021
Location: Based in Darwin, but will be required to travel throughout the Northern Territory
We currently require a Lighting Technician to join our team working throughout the Northern Territory. We also have positions available for AV technicians to support new and existing clients.

Like many companies, we are on the bounce back from COVID and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual that will enjoy the challenge of re-building the lighting department, our staffing, our process, procedures but more, designing and operating incredible lighting shows in the NT.
You will be responsible for design, preps, installation, programming and operating shows throughout the NT of various types of shows and systems.
This role requires strong communication skills, an outgoing personality with excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills.
A successful applicant should have:
- Experience in designing, programming and operating lighting shows in theatrical, corporate, commercial and festivals.
- Lighting protocols such as Art-Net, KiNET, DMX512-A,
- GrandMa desk programming
- Light fixture rigging, alignment and focusing
- Fixture addressing
- Rigging and safety
- Ground Support construction and rigging
- Power management and Testing
- Load plans, safety Documentation & Mark Up
- Vector-works or CAD
- Comfortable with working at heights
- Current driver’s license, industry white card, WWC and ACA open cable registration required
- EWP License & Scissor accreditation preferred but not essential
- Be efficient in Cable management
- Equipment testing and cleaning lights
- Design and operating shows
- Self-driven, motivated and able to self-manage with dedication to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Good computer skills, including understanding of IT networking and IP Configurations.
Safety
- Ensure our team are following all aspects of production safety.
- Oversee with our admin team the preparation of show-specific OH&S documentation including Risk Assessments and Safe Work Practices.
