Creative Productions is one of Australia’s major concert & festival lighting companies. Based on the Gold Coast, in Queensland we provide equipment, technical support and operators for some of the largest touring promoters nationally.
We are currently looking for fulltime Lighting Technicians for both local based and touring productions.
Specific responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Working with Technical Production/Event Managers to design, manage and deliver live events
- Deliver work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Ability to think creativly and problem solve
- Stay up to date with industry regulations, trends and technology
- Ability to build lighting infrastructure at a world class concert standard
- Lighting desk operation and application
Key selection criteria includes:
- Experience in the design and delivery of large events;
- Thorough understanding of all lighting production systems
- The ability to work a range of shifts, including days, nights and weekends; and must be able to travel around the country in short notice
- Excellent presentation, enthusiasm and a “can do” attitude – self motivation is essential
- Knowledge of the use of Hog4, GrandMA & ArtNET systems
Additional qualifications that will be looked on favourably but not compulsory
- Test and Tag license
- Forklift License
- Scissorlift License
- Experience with LED screens
Hours of work
$25 – $35 per hour
Minimum of 38 hours per week, shifts will vary across Monday to Sunday, days and nights
