Light Sky’s second generation waterproof beam light range was launched recently at Pro Light & Sound in Frankfurt.
The Tornado series IP Beam 3500 represents a leap forward in IP rated beam fixtures for installation and rental markets alike. Built off the already highly successful Aquabeam platform the Tornado series represents taking this proven unit to the next level with an IP66 rating and an all-aluminium housing this unit can stand up to anything the elements can throw at it.
The all-aluminium housing allows for extreme resistance to high temperatures, extreme cold, corrosion and aging from ultra-violet rays.
Available in three lamp models – 380w / 450w / 480w you can select which lamp size, output and type you would prefer.
Optically and effect wise the IP Beam 3500 has broad selection onboard with CMY colour mix plus a colour wheel with 14 colours + white.
It is fitted with 11 static gobos + open and has 3 animation gobos.
It has 2 prisms and 8 facet and a 16 facet that are rotatable and indexable.
It has a Beam angle of 1.8° but can use its frost wheel to vary the beam from 6° out to 45° allowing it to function as a wash beam fixture also.
It has a full range dimmer from 0-100% and a strobing utilises a dual blade strobe shutter that can cope with any rates you require.
And with its 540° of Pan and 240° of tilt both capable of high speed movement it can keep up with fixtures a lot smaller than it.
With one of the largest lens apertures on the market today at 190mm the Light Sky IP Beam 3500 packs an impressive visual punch on any stage both as a visible fixture or its dominating beam thru the air.
The Light Sky and the Tornado IP Beam 3500 are distributed exclusively in Australia and New Zealand by TLC Global.
