Designed to overcome issues with filters fading when used with LED fixtures, Zircon Filters have a lifespan of up to 200 times longer than standard filters and at more than double the thickness of a regular lighting filter (180 microns). These filters are not only slower to fade, but they are more durable. There are 12 filters in the range: five Minus Green filters, four Warm Amber filters, and three Diffusion filters all available in three different sizes. Zircon Warm Amber filters have been shown to retain at least 80% of their effectiveness after as much as eight months of continuous use on LED downlights, according to Lee Filters.
