Twin Towns Services Club in Tweed Heads has opened an exclusive lounge bar for those wanting to enjoy the finer things in life surrounded by classy finishes!
The venue features black granite bar tops, 5 metres of crystal rain falling from the ceiling behind the bar, and a bar front covered with smashed glass, lights shining from all angles to create a spellbinding look. Contemporary crystal chandeliers create an impact as you enter Breezes Bar with 1,500 drops of chrome and light falling down from four strategically placed holes in the ceiling.
The feature chandeliers are set within a suspended ceiling from where they tumble down and so were ideal for backlighting to add to the sparkle effect and a warm ambience to the space.
Cam Gunning of Vision & Sound Technology supplied and installed twelve LED PAR Quad-12 fixtures, three for each chandelier, to supply a subtle, upmarket look.
“I chose the LED PAR Quad-12 fixtures for the 8w per LED output and their ability to achieve a quality warm white and the option of pastels which are befitting of the design intent of the consultant,” commented Cam. “They were also within the budget specified by the consultant.”
The client wanted a sophisticated effect and so the LED PAR Quad-12 fixtures are nearly always set on a warm white however they offer the flexibility of colour changing for special events.
“The LED PAR Quad-12 fixtures sit on top of the suspended ceiling and are focused to shoot through the chandeliers,” said Cam. “The idea is that the LED source is not seen. The LED PAR Quad-12 fixtures were ideal for the project – in the right price range with the right result. I’m very happy with the output from them and they’ve been nothing but reliable.”
The LED PAR Quad-12 fixtures is compact in size, utilises the latest in LED technology, is bright, looks fantastic and is also inexpensive. Consisting of 12 QUAD-COLOUR RGBW- 8Watt LEDs this fixture can cover a large range of the colour spectrum including quality pastels, whites warm and cool.
