Your opportunity

Looking to step-up in your career and join our team as a permanent full time council employee? This is an excellent leadership opportunity within our dynamic and fast paced Technical Services department. As our Lead Theatre Technician Production, you will be responsible for the delivery of staging, production and duty supervision based at the Redland Performing Arts Centre.

Guided by our Values, you will:

  • Lead the technicians at multiple venues to facilitate the technical requirements of events and productions.
  • Strategise and prepare necessary correspondence in the form of technical notes for production requirements from technical information to set up.
  • Lead others in providing exceptional customer service within a multi-faceted team environment.
  • Initiate and drive ownership to ensure all safety regulations are followed.

Eligibility

  • You’ll be available to work as per operational requirements in conjunction with the scheduling of venue/s within the allotted Full-Time hours per week, which may or may not include pre-determined rosters during evenings and weekends.
  • You’ll have a certificate 3 in Live Production and Technical services, or have suitable entertainment industry experience, or have a trade or tertiary qualification.
  • You’ll have a C class drivers licence.
