Waves Audio has announced the latest round of updates for Waves V15 plugins that offers performance improvements and optimized functionality while also introducing new, modernized interfaces for the Doubler, SuperTap, and Enigma classic plugins.
Doubler’s update is designed to make the process of thickening voices and enriching mixes more intuitive, while SuperTap’s refreshed interface offers an enhanced user experience when creating “spacey” echoes and complex delays. Enigma’s redesigned layout improves usability for crafting a range of effects, including flanging to resonant reverbs.
Manny Marroquin calls the now-refreshed Doubler “a must for any track that needs more width and 3D magic,” while Stu White (Beyonce) notes it as “the industry’s go-to vocal thickening agent.” Tony Maserati points to SuperTapfor delivering “precise, complex delays that add depth — perfect for ‘ghost’ effects on vocals,” and Young Guru highlights its ability to handle “complex delay placements in mixing.” For Joe Chiccarelli, Enigma is “the go-to for adding personality to guitars, synths, and vocals,” while Dave Pensado calls it “the first place I go to for modulation.”
