KV2 Audio has announced the launch of the ESD312, a new three-way loudspeaker that’s equipped with dual 12-inch bass reflex-loaded woofers, a 6-inch horn-loaded midrange, and a 1-inch compression driver that can be driven with a single amplifier channel.
The ESD312 is designed for a variety of portable and installed applications, including main, fill and centre loudspeaker applications as well as DJ monitoring. It’s supported with a dedicated vertical mounting bracket for integration with VHD2.18J subwoofers or stand-alone operation. The Baltic Birch enclosure is coated with a durable polymer paint coating joined by a heavy-duty grille.
“We listened to the market demand and developed a totally unique solution that meets all the requirements,” says KV2 CEO George Krampera, Jr. The first installation of the new ESD312 is slated for the Amnesia nightclub in Ibiza as part of a summer upgrade project that will include a mobile DJ booth utilising the new loudspeakers.
