KGEAR has announced the release of the GH8, a compact point source loudspeaker that will premiere for the first time to an international market at InfoComm at the Las Vegas Convention Center (demo room N206) this coming June.
The GH8 incorporates an 8-inch full-range driver with stated maximum SPL of 129 dB (per single box). It offers a unique cabinet design and cardioid dispersion pattern for lower emission on the backside of the enclosure to help reduce noise.
In addition, the loudspeaker is also equipped with both the company’s proprietary Pure Array Technology (PAT) and Slim Array Technology (SAT) that help maximize sonic performance. It integrates with K-array Kommander power amplifiers.
The stainless steel enclosure is designed to withstand harsh conditions, and it carries an IP64 rating. A variety of mounting hardware options are also available.
“The GH8 represents a significant leap forward in our commitment to delivering cutting-edge audio solutions,” states Lorenzo De Poi, brand manager at KGEAR. “With its combination of Pure Array Technology (PAT) and Slim Array Technology (SAT), the GH8 strikes a perfect balance between sleek design and powerful performance.
“We’re excited about the launch of the GH8 as it completes the GH family, bridging the gap between the versatile and highly popular GH4 and the powerful GH12,” he continues. “The GH8 expands our ecosystem of high-performance point-source solutions, providing customers with even more options.”
