John Curtin College of the Arts, situated in Fremantle, Western Australia, continues its transition to an all-LED Powerhouse Venue. In keeping with their current ethos to deliver cutting-edge production technology for their students and venue patrons alike, chose to modernise their automated lighting system for their 456-seat Curtin Theatre.
With a diverse lineup of performances ranging from dance and musical theatre to dramatic productions, as well as serving as a sought-after commercial venue, the decision to upgrade their moving lights demanded meticulous consideration and evaluation.
After much consideration, they settled on the Aurora V4 S from CKC Lighting due to it meeting all the requirements for their venue and punching well above its class in terms of output and features.
The Aurora V4 S is a compact fully featured 350w spot that is both punchy as it is subtle, and we look forward to seeing these fixtures in use during the school’s upcoming productions.
