Its official! Creative Productions is delighted to announce the appointment of industry veteran Jeff Pavey as their new Production Manager. Well known, and highly respected, Pavey who is one of Australia’s most accomplished and respected designers, joins Creative after a long and successful career both here in Australia and overseas with artists such as Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, Powderfinger, Soundwave Festival, Blues Festival and Splendour In the Grass just mention a few during which time he fulfilled multiple roles.
With his new role as Production Manager, Pavey will be handling Creative’s already large client base whilst generating new business growth within touring, festival and television sectors.
Creative Production owner & CEO, Dave Jackson said “I couldn’t be more excited to have Pavey on board, as far as I’m concerned he is the bench mark when it comes to lighting designers in this country. We first worked together over 10 ten years ago on the ACROSS GREAT DIVIDE TOUR, Jeff was the LD for Powderfinger and I was the LD for Silverchair, it was joint headlining tour but if you ask Jeff he would tell you that Silverchair was the support “laughing”. He drove me mad every day but we became great friends.”
Pavey commented “I’m really excited to be joining Creative and helping the company growth. Dave and I are good mates, and he has done a great job building his company to where it is today, he’s got a really great team of people behind him, and the thing I really like is the equipment is fresh and the numbers are growing strongly daily.”
Pavey has actually been with the company since March but spent most of that time out with Jimmy Barnes Working Class Man Tour which Creative was supplying the lighting and LED Screen for the three month tour.
Not only was it Pavey’s first official week at Creative but it was also his birthday and we helped celebrate it with a custom birthday cake and dinner later that night with some of his close friends.
