Venue time for lighting programming and rehearsals is scarce (and expensive) in these current times of ever-tightening budgets, and venue bookings often result in shows and events running back-to-back, leaving little room to be creative “in the space”. For some time now, Peter Rubie has been pre-programming production lighting virtually for many of his shows by connecting lighting consoles to 3D visualisers with full mockups of the stage, sets, and production lighting, which respond in real-time to the lighting console. Typically this setup is ad-hoc, requiring setting up all the bits and pulling it apart to get back to ‘office mode’.
Peter is pleased to finally share with you the introduction of PeteViz, a studio space he has been slowly creating to provide a fully featured, and most importantly, comfortable space to pre-visualise your next show. There is space for the whole creative production team to sit, discuss and enjoy the presentation. Peter will offer this service to all his clients to elevate their experience in the creative process and also extend an invitation to other LDs and production teams to use the space by appointment. The Studio
* Located in Bardwell Park, less than 15 minutes from the Sydney Airport (without the plane noise).

* High-end graphics PC running Capture Symphony for unlimited viz universes, streaming video and laser feeds. Alternative software can be loaded if you prefer to use your own.
* MacBook Pro and Windows laptops available with QLAB, Cuepoints, DAW, Vectorworks, and Davinci Resolve already installed.
* Touchscreens, peripherals, SteamDecks, cables, show control I/O, audio, and MIDI interfaces provided.
