Eventec is pleased to share that MaestroDMX Software Package v1.5 has officially been released. This latest update introduces expanded Art-Net capabilities, enhanced real-time monitoring, improved cue transitions, and workflow refinements designed to make your shows smoother and more reliable than ever.
If you’re running MaestroDMX in live production, installations, or programmed show environments, version 1.5 delivers meaningful improvements to both performance and usability.
Key Features in v1.5
Expanded Art-Net Support
MaestroDMX can now send a full universe of DMX data over Art-Net. The new Art-Net output creator allows both manual setup and automatic discovery of Art-Net nodes on the same subnet.
A framedriver selection dropdown has also been added, allowing users to switch between Art-Net and Internal DMX while viewing unpatched fixtures.
Real-Time DMX Channels View
Users can now monitor DMX data being sent to each channel of a universe in real time. Channels are colour-coded and annotated by attribute type, providing clearer visibility and faster troubleshooting.
Fixtures can also be patched and edited directly within the DMX Channels View, streamlining workflow.
Refined Cue Transitions
Cue transitions within a Show now support both In and Out transition times, allowing for smoother and more controlled scene changes.
MIDI & OSC Play-Pause Control
MaestroDMX now supports Play-Pause commands via MIDI and OSC in Show mode.

This enables single-button playback control — ideal for live environments and simplified show triggering.
