Designed for creating immersive atmospheres and mesmerizing visuals at all sorts of events, Highlite’s Octostrip FLEX allows light designers to FLEX their creativity. The IP65-rated Octostrip FLEX is well-suited for outdoor events to live concerts, theatre productions, and more.
The Octostrip FLEX is an IP65-rated linear LED fixture consisting of eight LED strips, eight cables, and a controller. Each LED strip has individually controllable RGBW LED sections, allowing the creation of intricate, dynamic lighting effects. Available in two different lengths, the 50cm version has four controllable sections per strip, while the 100cm version has eight controllable sections per strip.
With four 2.5m cables and four 5m cables to work with, there are countless configuration options. The strips can be mounted easily using the dedicated Octostrip Mounting Bracket or the QuickLock Bracket.
“Once the setup is complete, flex your creative lighting skills by making full use of the RGBW LEDs that are capable of producing a vast spectrum of vibrant colours that can go from subtle transitions to bold, pulsating colour changes in an instant. The Octostrip FLEX can do it all on its own in Auto mode, while light designers can show off their own skills by controlling the fixtures with DMX or Art-Net,” the company says.
In addition to the LED strips, the cable and a controller, the Octostrip FLEX comes complete with 16 diffusers (eight black and eight white). The diffusers ensure uniform light distribution with the black diffusers making the strips virtually invisible when the LEDs are switched off, while the white diffusers block the least amount of light. The LED strips, cables, controller and diffusers can also be purchased separately.
The Octostrip FLEX is part of Showtec’s FLEX range that also includes the versatile Stage Blinder FLEX Blaze and the Titan Strobe FLEX FX.
