Firefly Lighting is growing! An opportunity exists for the right candidate to flourish in Internal Sales and Inventory Management with a company that has been established for 10 years.
Firefly Lighting is Australia’s leading and most recognised supplier of decorative LED lighting. We design, manufacture and wholesale/retail supply high quality LED fixtures consisting of Fairy Light, Festoon, LED FloppyFlex Neon, Landscape Lighting, and LED bulbs. We also design and install high profile projects around the country and internationally. We have a highly experienced team that is committed to supplying our clients with the highest standard of service and products. We are headquartered in Eagle Farm, Brisbane.
The successful applicant will be based in a full-time role and is required to be self-motivated, show high levels of initiative and autonomy and work well within a hard-working but fun-loving team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of LED lighting and several years of experience in sales is essential. Good knowledge of inventory systems and processes will greatly benefit your application.
Design and CAD experience is also highly desirable.
Job responsibilities:
Deal with incoming day to day phone and email enquiries and sales
Preparing quotes and tracking sales through to successful orders
Provide phone support and sales enquiry support to customers
Offer lighting advice to customers regarding their queries and installations
Work with a large variety of customers ranging from commercial installers and electrical wholesalers to domestic customers
Manage inventory system with assistance from other staff members
Report to the manager regarding sales and stock levels
Support colleagues in the sales team and also assisting in the warehouse preparing and shipping orders as well as verifying incoming stock
Assist with bi-annually stock takes
Key requirements:
An extensive level of lighting knowledge, particularly in the LED field
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Able to manage an inventory system
Ability to interact and sell to customers in a friendly manner over the phone
A high drive for customer satisfaction and customer service
Able to consider customer requests and guide them in finding solutions
Must be able to work under or without supervision
Driven to achieve high-quality results
Efficiency and time management skills are essential
Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment
A can-do and success-driven attitude
Computer skills are required – knowledge of MacOS highly regarded
Applicant must be able to lift heavy packages and load/unload stock as required in the warehouse
Own reliable transport is a must – free parking available on site.
This is a sales and customer support role and applicants with previous experience in these areas will be at an advantage
