Wild weather may have delayed the start of Splendour in the Grass last Friday but Queensland-company IKONIX kept hopes for the weekend alive with their bespoke light installation Pharos.
Located smack bang in the middle of the muddy fields, Pharos used sixteen custom-programmed Prolights Panorama Beams and eight Chauvet COLORdash Par H121P arranged in a hex design to create dazzling air effects and animations hundreds of metres into the sky.
IKONIX Director, Richard Saunders, credited the MA Lighting MA2 light driving Pharos.
“The design was conceptualised more than two years ago and seeing it come to fruition was fantastic,” he said. “The Panorama beams really packed a punch and the amazing support of Tim and the Queensland Chameleon team made it a seamless project despite the soggy conditions.”
