Last month saw the Independant Grocers of Australia hold their annual conference at the Star on Queensland’s Goldcoast. Creative Productions was engaged by our client Event Production Management to provide the lighting design and supply, install and operate it, alongside the design install of the LED screens. How much LED? Truck loads!
Late last year the we purchased hundreds of square metres of 5.9mm pitch TLC Global Tour Pro LED panel predominantly for touring production which added to the substantial quantity of 4.8mm pitch LED the company already had in stock, which has become the work horse for corporate events. The IGA LED installation, designed by Creative’s Head of Video, Shannon Barreau, used over 150 square metres of the 4.8mm screens alongside with multiple 4K Video LED drive racks to process the signals going to the various screens.
Lighting for the event, designed by Creative’s CEO Dave Jackson, and operated by Joshua Peltz, included 16 ROBE BMFLs and over 30 GLP impression X4 LED wash fixtures as well at GT-1 Spots and Tour Pro Storm LED strobes.
The event was built over two days and came out in around 5 hours thanks to our hard-working crew and logistics team.
